They chose the Eiffel Tower for such occasion and were thinking what more they could do for the fifth anniversary. The disadvantage of celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary in Paris was that their friends and family could not attend the event. Therefore, for the fifth anniversary they decided to invite them to Disneyland.
In addition, during their renewing of vows both of them were dressed as Disney characters Cinderella and Prince Charming. Nick Cannon explained it by saying that both Mariah Carey and he like to dress up and it made the event funnier.

He hinted that they probably might do just a simple celebration themed like hillbilly wedding ceremony.
